For my birthday, my lovely work colleagues brought me a 3 Month Gift voucher for Look Fantastic. I thought this was such a great idea as it lets me try a new beauty box and it’s like an extended mini birthday treat arriving at my door for next 3 months.

Within my first Look Fantastic beauty box I received; The Vintage Cosmetics Company Slanted Tweezers, Jelly Pong Pong Fairy Lashes Curl Mascara, Pixi Brow Tamer, Briogeo Don’t Despair, Repair! Deep Conditioning Mask, Nuxe Gentle Toning Lotion and Trifle Cosmetics Liquid Glow.  They are a couple of common beauty samples brands such as Pixi and Nuxe, which you often find in other beauty boxes but there are also a few brands which I hadn’t heard of before such as; Briogeo and Trifle. I’m looking forward to testing these samples and potentially finding some new favourite brands.

I’m really pleased with my first Look Fantastic box and looking forward to receiving my next box in February. Once I’ve finished my gift subscription, I will then decide if I carry on my subscription but I love about Look Fantastic is that you can choose how many boxes you want to sign up too. You can buy a one off box for £15, sign-up to 3 months for £14.50 per month, sign-up for 6 months for £13.75 per month or sign-up for 12 months for £13 per month. And all options come with free delivery. Plus I love that you can give these boxes as gifts – perfect for your beauty loving friends and family members!

The Beauty Wish List

With pay-day round the corner, I’ve  already been scouting around all the beauty websites, I now have a beauty wish list as long as my arm! Here are biggest culperts cutrently sitting on top of my wish list –

Dior BB Cream – Since it launched, I’ve brought a tube of this every summer! It lasts me for the entire season and makes for the perfect base during the warmer months.

Sleek Cream Contour Palette – Sleek always bring it with their palettes! They are on of my favourite high-street brands because they create great quality palettes that sometimes give even my MAC palettes a run for their money. There are only a handful of high-street brands who have attempted the cream contour colour, so excited to see the quality of this Sleek palette.

Beauty Boxes – I’ve wanted to start up another beauty box subscription for ages, but just don’t know which one to go for. I’ve had Glossybox before, but never tried the Birchboxes…any recommendations with which I should pick?

Origins GinZing Peel-Off Mask – I’m a massive fan of Origins skincare and a big fan of a peel mask, so it’s a win win with this pick. Definitely want to give this a go!

Benefits Goof Proof Eyebrow Pencil – Benefit are about the launch an even more extended range to their eyebrow collection. Brows are something I’ve been getting more and more into recently but if I’m honest, I’m still struggling to find the perfect products for my brows. Being a ‘good proof’ pencil means I can’t go far wrong…right?!

Now let’s wish for a big unexpected bonus in this month’s pay packet so I can try them all…!

What’s currently on your beauty wish list? Have you tried any of these products – what were your thoughts?
