Top 5 Summer Nail Polishes

Now the sun is finally out, I thought I’d share my top 5 summer nail polishes –

Topshop’s Leigh – the newest polish to this round up, and you might recognise it from a recent Topshop haul I posted a couple of weeks ago (link). This is part of Topshop’s new denim colour polish range which match the same colours of each of their famous jeans styles. Since I brought this, I’ve not worn anything else! It’s a gorgeous light blue which still is nice and suttle for everyday – I love it!

Nails’s Inc in Porchester Square – a bit of a cheat pick as this is one of my all time favourite nail polishes regardless of what season it is. Not a lot to say on this one, other than – It’s the perfect nude!

Rimmel’s Oragina – I have to admit, Rimmel is one of my favourite brands for nail polish. The formula is always easy to work with and 9 times out of 10 you only need one coat. I find they last well on my nails too, and for the price (usually ranging from £3 to £5) you really can’t go wrong! This was a shade which launch last year as part of the Rita Ora range and looks amazing as soon as you start getting your summer tan.

Essie in Ballet Slippers – my nails go through phrase of being nice and long to stubby and short, and when they’re short I like to opt for a light neutral colour to make my nails look clean and fresh. Ballet Slippers is a very very pale pink it’s nearly white, but I love the fact it has a hint of pink rather than looking like tipex nails (we all did it at school!). You need a couple coats of this for a nice clean finish, but it’s worth the effort!

Rimmel’s Wild-er-ness – I absolutely love a pastel purple as soon as the weather gets a bit warmer. I have lots of polishes all in a similar shade because it’s one of my favourite colours, but I really love the formula on the Rimmel polishes.

What’s your favourite summer nail polish?
